Emergency Mechanised Response
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Patrol the streets of Fukuoka in your EMR mecha. A series of fires have broken out across the city and it's up to the Emergency Mechanised Response team to put them out!
Controls: Keys or Joypad, you'll have to work out the latter on your own device.
WSAD - Throttle and turning. You can only steer your mech while it's moving. The throttle bar is in bottom right. It also shows the min speed below which your mech will stop automatically.
Q/E - Rotate torso
LMB/Fire1 - Fire Watercannon. Use this to put out fires, but beware, there is only finite water in the tank (top left bar)
RMB/Fire2 - Turn your siren on/off for kicks
ESC - To open menu; invert Look axis, or leave game
TAB - Toggle Minimap, fires are shown as infrared hotspots
To invert controls, open ESC menu and hit the button to whichever convention makes most sense in your head.
OBJECTIVE: Put out all the fires! (Didn't get a chance to make a minimap or pointers, so you need to locate them. Look for smoke, or the sound of the inferno.)
(oh and... flip cars with your watercannon for lolz)
CREDITS: Following assets were used to have a game rather than a mech walking around in an empty room: Ambulance by Mixaill, Police Interceptor by SICS Games, Fukuoka city scenery by ZENRIN, Scifi skin by 3d.rina, Fantasy Skybox by Render Knight, Feel by More Mountains, Inverse Kinematics by Dogzerx, various free sound libraries.
Mac version now available! Please let me know if anyone would like a Linux version and I'll give it a go.

Submitted a fix for the dumb bug where you go backward faster than forwards... also fixes a couple of other very minor things such as the Esc menu not freezing the game, but original jam submission is still available for unbiased reviews!
