Submission for Ludum Dare 42: "Running Out of Space"

Take charge of the Vogon Constructor Fleet and demolish Earth to make way for a Hyperspace Bypass! Strike a balance between keeping planetary systems around for income, or sacrificing them for your ever-expanding interstellar roadways.

Instructions:

FULL SCREEN HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Drag Right Mouse Button to move the view. Use WSAD to pan around when not focused on a planet.

On the top of the interface, from right to left, are your Funds, Income and Happiness. Funds is how much you have, Income is how much you're getting... and Happiness can be ignored, because you're a Vogon!

Demolish planets by selecting them and pressing "Demolish". Cleared planets can be used as steps in Hyperspace Bypasses.

The aim is to build Bypasses between lucrative systems, to accrue to highest amount you can by Turn 12. To build a Bypass, Left Click on a system to start at. Then press "Route"; the indicator will turn blue to show you are route-building. Select a destroyed system and press Route again to continue, until you reach your destination, where you finish by pressing Route one last time. You can also see the cost of the Bypass and the projected profit per turn.
